Talitha Kumi,

1-You are a home of knowledge and morality.
Oh, shelter of chaste and virtuos young girls
And for lion cubs
And a delicious water spring to sip from.

2-In you, I find my entertainment and delight.
My pleasant life and happiness.
In you, my heart recalls with great pleasure our childhood.

3-How much time filled entirely with entertainment and delight,we spent within your walls.
How many times, we sipped a glass of knowledge but not of wine.

4-With the progress of the young generation,
Every welfare for the country is hoped for.
Oh, my beloved, it is our duty to acquire Knowledge through our perseverance.

5-Oh, hills of Talitha Kumi,
Talk with great pride and satisfaction
About the roses, those young men and women,
Flourishing on your sides.
